January 2026

From Worshipful Master Dwain Chase:

  • Well, we made it through all three of the degrees in 2025 and completed that requirement of the AMC.
  • We did get By-Laws approved in 2025 and will be submitted for final approval at the Grand Communication in June 2026. We have an Authorization Letter from the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Brother Leigh Creighton, of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Arizona, to use these By-Laws until that time in June when the final approval is granted.
  • Again, I thank you all for the trust you have placed in me this new Masonic year.
  • We will hopefully have another candidate for this year, he has been visiting with Apache Lodge so far, but is interested in the Saturday schedule at Camelback Daylight Lodge. Hopefully he will attend our breakfast on Saturday January 3rd.

From Brother Secretary Paul Swietek:

Paul has reminded me that it is that time of year again to start thinking about submitting your dues for 2026.
Dues have increased $ 10.00 due to Per-Capita fee increase. So, our 2026 dues will be $220.00.

We need to create a fund raiser or two, that can generate $ 5,000.00 this year to keep from having to pull that amount out of our investment funds and further depleting our interest-bearing funds. Masonic Panhandling is that a real thing? “Will work for Light”? We need funds!

Things will happen that keep causing our dues to increase even more, but if we can generate and replenish our fund balance hopefully in a couple of years we can generate enough interest income to supplement our dues income to keep the lodge open and growing.

If you need dues relief or payment arrangements, please contact Secretary Bro. Paul so he can get you the proper paperwork to present your current situational needs to the Dues Relief Committee and or workout an acceptable payment plan that will work for you.

Master Mason Degree Performed in December 2025

On Saturday, December 27, 2025 Camelback Daylight Lodge #75 perform a 3rd Degree upon Fellowcraft Robert George Kagan.

Acting Master John P Baker, PM said that he had some outstanding help. It was his first time doing a 3rd degree in almost 30-years! He stated that when he first joined Camelback Daylight Lodge #75 (he took a demit out for almost 20 years), he just wanted to sit on the sidelines and watch. I guess that is not going to be the case for him!

It is always nice to see a 3rd Degree performed and to remember those lessons we are taught and to make sure we practice them in our daily lives.

We also had a great breakfast provided by Worshipful Master Dwain Chase. And, to add to the special day, He brought in some delicious Rudy’s BBQ for lunch. Most of us had to loosen our belts a bit before we left the lodge building.

Pictured below is our degree team with “Bobby” Kagan and our visitors to the lodge.
